YUCK! DD had not played with her bath toys in a while and they were all just sitting in the mesh bag for a while. I took the bag out of the tub to do a monthly extra-good scrubbing (as opposed to the weekly cleaning) and almost puked when I saw the bag and toys! I tossed everything except her rubber duck which I bleached the heck out of. It gives me the yucks just thinking about it!

Same thing happened here. I try to deter the kids from taking any toys in the tub- yuck!

they become very gross after time & a pain for sure to clean.

I just did a total bleach bath of ours - I make sure to lay them all out each time and with the water squirters, I replace them as necessary!

Eeew! I haven't had an issue with ours yet, but will keep a closer eye on them now! We did have a little mold-looking stuff in the creases of her bath-time book, but I just wiped it clean with a lysol wipe & let it air dry better now.
