Please pray for victims and the families affected by this tragedy. This is supposed to be where they are safe. To be shot down by one of their own is a cruel, sad joke.

I can't even believe it. Just horrendous.

What all these families must be going through is unreal.

I could not believe my ears yesterday when Dh told me about this; it is just awful! This was especially hard to hear about for us as my husband was born & raised in Killeen. His parents still live in that area and his dad WORKS at Fort Hood as a civilian; he is an air traffic controller. Dh called his mom yesterday and we found out that his Dad is actually out of town, thank goodness! He did say that one of his workers shift ended at 4pm, but he was not allowed to leave the base until 7:30pm.


Our hearts, thoughts, & prayers go out the familes!

I feel aweful for the families as my husband is an injured soldiers and got out about 2 years ago. I have to say the soldiers returning from combat do not get the mental help that they need when they return they just kinda let them go.
