Default Fourth of July!
Happy Independence day new friends!
Hope everyone has a fun and safe night!

Last night i took my 4 month old to Shake at the Lake.
Its where they do fireworks the day before 4th of july.
Well i wasnt to sure how she would handle it but figured id give it a try and if it bothered her i would leave.
Well she absolutely LOVED it!
I was so happy. She watched in amazement and kept opening her mouth real wide in awe. She would coo here and there and just literally watched them the entire time until they were done.
So tonight we are going to a friends to watch fireworks, hopefully she likes them again tonight but im wondering if they might be loud for her considering we will be closer to them.

Happy 4th!!! that sounds like fun! It's amazing when you watch your children in awe at things that we are so use to. One of the many pleasures of being a parent.

We are waiting for Greg to get home from work, and then off for family cookout.

Sounds like fun!

We had lots of great plans but I injured my hip on Tuesday night and spent most of the night in the ER. So on the 4th, we spent some time with friends at their home and then rented a movie for the girls to watch. Andy took all three kids to the park while I lay on the couch sleeping/watching TV/ medicated. Then once Alex went to bed, Andy took the girls to see the fireworks.

It wasn't as ideal as I'd hoped but we still got to spend the day together.
