  • Well for the first time in 5 years we got a babysitter for New Years Eve............then found out all of our friends were either staying with their kids and the one guy who normally throws a party has to work!

So...I just had the babysitter switch to tonight and we're going to dinner and a movie, then spending New Years with the kids!

What do you guys normally do for New Years Eve?

  • Stay home, watch a movie, watch the ball drop and crack open a bottle of sparkling grape juice to toast in the New year.

  • We also got a sitter so we're going to dinner with friends and then coming back to our house to play cards, enjoy some beverage, and hang with our friends while the kids sleep. I'm pretty jazzed!

  • That's awesome!
I got my daughter a "first new years" outfit just to hang out. She will be in bed while the ball drops and luckily my SO has the night (3rd shift) off so we can watch it together with some (cheap) champagne lol
