  • This is potentially a very difficult situation and I'm sending positive thoughts your way. It sounds like your mother needs medical attention, whether it's Alzheimer's or depression. I'm also sorry that you father needs to deal with such negativity in his life, it must be hard for him.

    After you get a diagnosis on your mom's condition, you and your siblings can decide what kind of help you can get them. If they end up separating, it won't be easy but not necessarily awful for your dad. This whole thing will probably going to be long road, and we're here to listen if you need to vent. All the best!
