Nintendo DS deal

  • I know some of us were thinking of getting DS's for the kids this year for the holidays.

Radio Shack is clearancing out their DS's and they are $89 for silver or white and I think $99 for pink, blue or red.

Not cheap, but a good deal if that is what you are looking to buy.

We scored an $89 one at our local radio shack.

We called around and asked what their stock was like. Some stores aren't even aware they are on sale, so make sure they scan them in before they give you a price. Some Radio Shacks no longer carry video games so I would call before heading out to one.

2 of our local stores had them in stock.

Hope that helps someone a bit. I know I was thankful for the tip. Now I can afford to buy a game to go with the DS. LOL!

  • Im not sure if this link will work or not. But if you are a fan of WalMart on FB, they released the Black Friday Paper today. Nintendo DS Lite for $89.00, 5-11am only! Scroll all the way down to find $5 DS games as well.

We were planning on replacing oldest DD's DS as her birthday gift (11/30), so looks like I will be waiting in line at 5 am. This is a good deal.

  • Any game suggestions for 5-7 year olds? Both are good readers and are used to Leapster games?

So far I found a drawing game that looks fun and not much else. LOL! We aren't gamers so I'm totally clueless.

  • Mario Kart is by far the favorite of all 3 of my kids. Do NOT do the Nintendogs, cats etc. It's hard to train the stupid animals because you have to repeat the names and commands over and over and if you say it differently between each time then it starts over. WASTE of my money!

Brent and Braedon like the Lego Star Wars game. Brooke has a littlest pet shop one she likes also. The horse one she wanted she doesn't care for too much now.
Thank you savannah33!
