  • We're going down to Wildwood next weekend for 3 nights for the firemens convention. We wont be down til at least 830/9 thurs night and leaving early sunday afternoon. We are really looking fw to it esp since I was out of work and we didnt do anything w/ the kids this summer. Found out today that his mom and I think dad are coming down for the day on saturday. I told him that if we plan on taking a vaca it has to be out of state b/c of his parents coming for the day. :\ Well, friends of ours, w/ their kids are taking Chris' offer that he mentioned months ago about coming down and even staying overnight. Im a little annoyed and guess being selfish. I want to just to spend time w/ the kids and hubby...not entertaining e/o else. Im hoping they at least come down the same day as the ILs so it will at least give friday of us doing things together. Sometimes I just wish my hubby would just keep his mouth shut. :\

  • I hear you. Sometimes it is nice to just enjoy the nuclear family. Hopefully, when all is said and done, it will be fun to have the company and spend time with other family and friends.
