Not having any family around where I live, and my hubby's family isn't very involved, I've been having quite the anxiety about what's going to happen after our little one arrives.

I have talked to friends and many of them thankfully offered to babysit. The thing is, most of them are clueless about babies themselves like me

But yesterday, the Korean ESL student we hosted for 6 months before she started college, visited us and she was excited to hear our news about the baby. And she told us that she has a degree back at home for ECE and would love to help out during the first months. She's going to Korea for 2 months for vacation but she will be here before the baby arrives.

I feel sooo lucky right now

Well, she won't be staying with us but she'll be coming over a couple of days a week.

My biggest problem is most of my closest friends are either single or some of them are currently trying to conceive. So, when they have their babies, they will have me to give them wise advice

But right now all I can do is try and educate myself as much as possible about everything baby-related.
