Pre marriage (5 years ago) I shelled out tons for shoes. My most expensive were around $250.

My hubby does not see the reason for expensive shoes when there are perfectly good shoe stores (payless) around for me to shop at!

So now, for jogging shoes we pay about $100 and about $25 for regular shoes. I am obsesed with Old navy flippies that are like 2 for $5

I pay more for DD' s shoes. I love Chuck Taylors and she need them in every color and they are about $30 I got 2 pairs for $10 on sale.

Running shoes are definitely the most expensive - $100 a pair, two pairs at a time so I can alternate them every other day. But two pairs last me 18 months. Most other shoes range from $25 to $75, depending on use (fun shoes are cheaper, dress shoes to wear with work suits are more expensive).

My running shoes last me years and years. Only because I almost always wear flip flops. I go through stages were I do run alot and then my shoes do need to be replaced. In the past 2 months I thin I've worn my running shoes 3 times.

It depends but probably not more than $100 for me and maybe $40 for Brendan. And then if I spend alot on a pair of shoes, I expect to get alot of wear of them. I wish though that kids' shoes weren't so expensive. I like to buy Stride Rite and always hope there's a sale or something marked down when he needs new shoes.

Laura, GMTA

I have spent about $100 for a good pair of DocMartins and they honestly last me for YEARS!! I'm not really into shoes. I wear the Docs during the winter and all summer I either wear Old Navy flip flops or Adidas flip flops (Old Navy was about $3.00 and the Adidas one's were $20).

I have to admit, I do have a shoe fetish when it comes to my girls!!

For Shaye, right now I only have her in Stride Rites and they tend to run about $40 or $45 (but Nordstrom Rack sometimes has good sales for about $25. You just gotta catch them at the right time). I probably wouldn't pay more than about $45 right now for her becasue her feet are growing so fast. She also has a pair of Converse high tops that were only $20. Shaye probably has about 10 or 12 pairs of shoes right now

For Naia, she is still only in the Robeez (I usually don't put any on her during the summer months, although Shaye was in Robeez even in 110 degree weather! LOL!). Robeez run $26. I have about 5 or 6 pairs of Robeez for Naia.
