I'm glad you found them a home. I am LOL at the thought of you "chasing wabbits" like the Elmer Fudd character. LOL! It sounded like a pretty traumatic pet experience. :-)

We had bunnies when I was a kid but they were outdoor bunnies and frankly my Dad said they disappeared one day and I never questioned it. Maybe I should have? OL!

Oh they were a real pain! They need more space than you'd think. I had a very large cage and an enclosure around it so they could run around and still one got way too fat to clean himself so he'd get poop all over his butt & I had to give him baths! Imagine bunny poop floating in the bathtub. Eww! And it would rub off on the carpet. Eww Eww! And after I got rid of the old rugs I had in and under the cage I saw they had pee spots all over. I thought they just peed in the litter boxes.

I was afraid to put them in an outside cage because of the heat and the dogs so they were in my office and I had to run the a/c even if we went out for the day so they wouldn't get too hot. So now I'm feeling guilty because they'll always be outside and its supposed to be HOT this weekend. But I'm not telling my kids about that LOL!

I'm probably going to be finding rabbit fur in my office for years!

Sooo anybody interested in bunnies now?
I'm going to try to sell the cage on Craigslist. If it cost $150 new how much should I ask for it?

What a lot of people do on Craiglist here is put the retail price and then say "make me an offer".

Like the boy scout uniform I just bought, the woman put down how much each piece retailed for and then said to make an offer. I gave her my low offer and then she countered with "i was hoping to get more back as they are in new condition". I countered with my slightly higher offer, she accepted and we met at the supermarket parking lot for pickup.

I love Craiglslist for buying but get nervous with selling. I never know what to be my minimum and hate to undersell it if I could get more, but also don't want to price it so high that nobody makes any offers. Good luck!

Good idea.

My biggest problem is going to be showing it to people. It will fit in my car with the seats down but I will need help loading it.
