Infants Are Fed Solid Food Too Soon, C.D.C. Finds

"Despite growing warnings from pediatricians about feeding newborns anything other than breast milk or formula, many mothers appear to be introducing solid food well before their babies’ bodies can handle it, says a study published Monday in the journal Pediatrics. ..."

This is something that I have been saying for many years. Infants organs are not prepared for all of that processed, sodium filled, dyed goodness that adults love so much. Their little bodies need breat milk or formula, not solid food. I started researching this when my oldest daughter was overweight at a very young age. I found a lot of information about the connections between childhood obiesity and juice, sweetened formula, and solid foods. It may seem simpler and harmless but in the long run it could be detrimental to your child's health.

Just "food for thought".

Yes!! I have seen people introducing baby food way too early and then table food, soda, etc and the child ends up with allergies and intestinal issues! They grow up in the blink of eye as it is, why try to speed up the process? Feed you baby what is appropriate for a baby!
