Very good article. Although we are not this extreme in most things we do have a lot of the same habits. We put money directly into 401K, savings accounts for college funds etc. We don't make major purchases without talking about it and waiting a while. We do not drive new cars (mine is 2002) and we have no debt except our mortgage and the loan on the land we bought last year (paying it down now).

Interesting article...

I noticed though that most of those people already make a lot of money, which makes saving money easier. "Regular" people can't afford to put that much away (in dollars, that is) because some of them are only netting that dollar amount that those people can afford to put away.

I agree Jeanne. It wasn't the amounts people were making / saving as must as the concept that I find interesting.
