  • We are a family of 5, one is a (almost) teenage boy and my budget is SUPPOSED to be $100 a week, but most weeks its between $150-$200, mostly because when I go back to the store for milk, bread, etc that I run out of half way through the week I tend to grab other stuff too, if its on sale or whatever

we also buy a lot or organic stuff (milk, veggies, fruit etc) and that is always more expensive than the other....

  • We spend about 150 a week, but I am trying to get it down to 115-125/week.

BJ's is always an extra trip for kitty litter, diapers and impulse/odd items -- last week I got Tommy his toddler life jacket for the boat -- $15 versus $35 from the boat store.
