  • I seen something being mentioned on the news last night about it but went to bed early

    and missed it.
Then I thought I seen something on here somewhere about it.
So have any of you ladies tried it? What does it consist of? Is there a recipie?
I'm sure one of the more crafty ladies (everyone but me

    ) knows something.
I'm interested in finding out some information on it!

  • I make my own, but its a dry recipe, not a liquid. We have hard water and its supposed to be better than liquid for our water situation. I use whatever soap I can find at the store. Sometimes I use Zote, Fels Naptha, or Kirk's Castille soap. I usually use a combination of two of them. So, here goes my recipe, it makes me two of the big ice cream tubs full.

3 bars Fels Naptha soap grated (I use my food processor)
    3 bars Zote soap grated
    6 cups baking soda
6 cups Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda
    6 cups Borax

I mix it all together and store it for use when needed. I use about 1/4 cup per load.

I think I've seen other recipes posted somewhere here too. Good luck!
