I'm redoing the budget, and we are short! What's killing us is medical bills, gas, and childcare!
We usually have a rental which we get to keep $250/month from, and it's not rented at the moment (last people trashed it and we need to fix it).
DH is just going to have to donate some of the money from his side job to make up the difference. BLAH. I used his base pay, and o/t will be picking back up again here soon, I hope, and it won't be a problem.

Being a grownup is annoying sometimes, lol.

Ok, I guess I should have clarified...
We are short when I budget for things like sports, entertainment. groceries, etc in the same amount we are used to spending. So what's probably going to have to happen are some hard choices about what to keep and what to get rid of.

We're having some discussions on what we need to cut out of our extra spending too. Dance is killing us for one thing but it's the only thing Brooke enjoys and we're not willing to pull that from her so other things must be reduced.

:bhug: Yeah, being an adult stinks.

We went through the wringer when we were getting out of debt. We cut out just about everything extra in order to pay off all of our debt. It was the pits!!

I hope the rental gets fixed up soon and you're able to find a quality tenant in no time!

It's hard when you add in the extras that the kids are into because it can get so expensive. The thing that stinks is you feel like (atleast here we feel like it) you need to have them in something because if not they aren't doing anything. A lot of people here are in aftercare or after school activities and no one is just out playing anymore.
