Default WTH???????

You have GOT to be kidding me.

We got our tax return back, and I paid off both our credit cards (with several hundred dollars to spare). I opened my bill from the hospital.... guess how much it costs to have a miscarriage these days, aside from your dignity, your faith, etc???? ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. And, to top it off, there is no place on the bill where it says "call us to talk about a payment plan."

And, on top of that, our prebid estimate for our addition/remodel was very reasonable (and going to be paid for mostly with cash). He just came back with an actual bid which is TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS more than the original bid. Needless to say, I highly doubt the master br is going to be getting done now.

I would be ok with it if the original estimate had been up there-- I wouldn't have gotten my hopes up. I hate being disappointed. Again. I ate ice cream.
(Maybe this should be on the vent board).

I'm just so disgusted with everything lately.

I would call and ask for payment arrangements even if it don't say on the bill. And that just sucks about the remod, can you get another bid?

or sometimes, the hospitals can charge you on a sliding scale and you can see if you qualify for their sliding scale which would probably cut the bill down.

sorry the bid came in so incredibly over the original estimate. That totally sucks. You would think that with the economy the way it is, that the construction guys would be eager to get business. Well, that's NOT how you get business.

I am so sorry about the bill for the miscarriage that is just putting salt in a painful wound.
I am sure that they will allow payments even if it doesn't say that on the bill.

Sorry about the remodel that just sucks!
