I went back to my old job (daycare) and work at Walgreens on the weekend. I get one day off during the week from the daycare (we work 4 10 hour days) and I keep my niece on that day. We had so much fun going to the library and hanging out. My sister is going to put her in my daycare on 10-11 and she'd be in my class....but...I think I want to leave the daycare already (this is my second week back) and keep her during the day. I could work 3 nights a week (5-10:30) and keep the weekends to get my insurance. My mom gets off work at 4 so she could keep her from 4:30-6:00. I'd be making the same amount of money and getting to spend so much more time with Isabella. It's also a lot less stress. So I am gonna talk to my manager about adding some hours on and then put in my 2 weeks notice. I know they are gonna be mad because they gave me a big raise to come back and they are short handed right now. But I want to do this...and my neighbor may let me keep her grandaughter who's almost the same age as Isabella. My dad thinks its a bad idea...my mom and sister and I love the idea.

Do what you need to do for you and don't worry what that employer thinks. They'll get over it if you do decide to leave.

I think it's a lovely idea if you can do it financially. But I agee with Karen, make time for you .
