Oh Savannah! I didn't see your post! That really sounds good! Maybe I can make something like that, but use different meat?

Susan - your roast recipe sounds great. Actually both sound delicious! Do you think there is anything that I could use besides cream of mushroom soup for the roast (it has milk and my dd is allergic). Sorry don't mean to hijack your thread Susie!

Chicken burritos are good.

3 (or more if you want) boneless chicken breast
1 cup of salsa
a little water (1/4 cup maybe).
1 pack of taco seasoning
1 can black beans (optional)

cook all day on low.

Shred with fork and add 1/2 block (or more if you used more chicken) of cream cheese and let it melt.

Spoon into flour tortillas, roll up and place in 9x13 pan. Bake on 350 for 30 minutes topped with cheese and salsa.

This also freezes and thaws well.

You can omit the cream of mushroom easily just put a can of cream of potato or just thicken it with a few tablespoons of flour.
If you like mushrooms then just slice some fresh or use a jar type.
