It has recently been revealed by incoming head writer Hogan Sheffer, that EJ is in fact a DiMera! Most if not all of us suspected, putting two and two together; English accent, Susan’s baby was named Elvis John, that child was Stefano’s prodigy; hence EJ was likely to be Stefano’s child.

According to TV Guide’s Daniel R. Coleridge, Joseph Mascolo is expected to return to the set of Days of our Lives as the legendary Stefano DiMera. No official verification has been given at this time.

Their have been rumors that Jay Kenneth Johnson (ex-Philip) has been asked back, but at this time no indication that the rumors are true or official statement has been made by either side.


COMING TO DAYS:
DAYS has recast the role of Shawn Douglas Brady, Brandon Beemer will take over the role on Thursday, September 28th.

LEAVING DAYS
Billy Warlock (Frankie) will be leaving DAYS, after Jack and Jennifer leave, but no specific date has been given.

Christy Clark and Austin Peck have been given their walking papers. Look for Austin and Carrie to depart Salem together in October.

Brody Hutzler (Patrick Lockhart) will be exiting DAYS in the near future - no date given at this time.

Jason Cook's last appearance as Shawn will be on Friday, September 22nd.

Farah Fath (Mimi) has requested that her contract be shortened.

Say good-bye to Jack and Jennifer, Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves on Thursday, September 21st...


Kyle Brandt (Philip) is leaving the show on Wednesday, September 20th. Based on statements from the new headwriter Hogan Sheffer, I expect Philip to be recast at some point in the near future
