When the embryologist called this a.m., I thought for sure we'd be having a 3 day transfer. We have 10 embies in the 6 to 9 cell range right now and my
RE said she would only put TWO (!) 3-day embies back. I think that is just stupid and would want to put back at least three and probably four!!!! But they will not do that.

pg twice with this donor, putting back that many is way too risky for multiples (plus my fibroids). The embryologist said, "Maddy, there is no way I could pick 2 from these 10. Of course I'd pick the 9 cell and one of the 8 cells, but what
if it's one of the 6 cells that is destined to be your pregnancy?"

I'm really ok with the decision and this way the best embies will make theirselves known to
us (as my embryologist puts it). I have been
pg before on a blast transfer, now I just have to pray that the embryologist picks out the right one(s) on Wed. My
RE probably will not let me put back 3 blasts, so it will more than likely be 2 again. I think
if this
IVF cycle does not work we are gonna beg and plead to be way more aggressive on
IVF#4!!!
