  • For Audiobooks, do we just find the paperback version, and count the number of pages from that?

  • I would say any version would work, as long as the audiobook is unabridged. If it's abridged, you can calculate by comparing the unabridged to the abridged version. Let me know if that comes up. I never listen to abridged audiobooks, but I know both versions usually exist, with few exceptions.

  • Example, The Time Traveler's Wife abridged version is 12 hours 6 minutes, and the unabridged version is 17 hours 43 minutes. The unabridged version would correspond to the full number of pages in either the hardcover or paperback version - 560 pages.

    To calculate # of pages for abridged:

    Abridged version = 726 minutes
    Unabridged version = 1,063 minutes

    726/1,063= 68.3% X 560 pages = 382 pages
