Default Barnes and Noble @midnite

I just got home from Barnes and Noble with the first release of Brisinger by Christopher Paolini. I went with my friend and her young daughter. Barnes and Noble had a lot of activities leading up to the midnight release.
Has anyone else read the first two books Eragon and Eldest?

I wondered if anyone from here would be out tonight (er, um, last night). I didn't go as I haven't read any of this series yet. Glad you had a good time and were able to get your copy of the book.

I haven't read the first two. Sounds like you would definitely recommend them since you went to the midnight release of the 3rd!

I read Eragon & was not impressed so I never read Eldest. I had read the LOTR series recently & saw too many similarities between that & Eragon.

I think if I'd never read LOTR I would have liked Eragon more. Rachel loves the movie.
