Have fun! We have much, MUCH anticipated the release of Cars 2. We are planning it as part of our trip to Alabama, so we will see it in a couple weeks.

Not us. None of my kids seem interested.

Have fun!

We're going tomorrow. We're taking a friend and her kids. They've had a very rough last week. Last Wednesday, she walked into her home after VBS to find her 42-year-old husband dead on the sofa. He had had a heart attack and died before going to work that morning.

Their daughter turns 6 tomorrow so we're taking them to see the movie tomorrow. They also have a 7-year-old son. My friend has ABSOLUTELY no family and even though the autopsy revealed a 90% blockage in the artery going to his heart, his family has accused my friend of poisoning her husband so the coroner is awaiting the results of toxicology reports to confirm the cause of death. The husband wrote his Will and life insurance policy in 2005 during a time of separation in their relationship but never re-wrote it so he's left everything (including a $450,000 life insurance policy) to the 7-year-old son.

It's been a ROUGH 10 days or so for my friend and her children. Last night was the first night they'd been home. We went over a couple of evenings ago & removed the couch from the house so she could go back there. They slept in the house last night and it was pretty difficult for all of them. My heart breaks for them.

Sorry to hijack this thread with all of that.

So the short answer is: YES--we're seeing Cars 2 tomorrow afternoon. And my DH can hardly wait. He loves any 3D movie.
