We do a good line in light to moderate rain, overcast clouds & an invigorating wind here if anyone wants some...

Glinda, Dh is in NY this w/end (his first time, he's been bouncing with excitement for a week!) - I'm glad I packed all those short sleeved shirts for him, he's been back in his long-sleeved ones for a while now here. (His company has sent him and three others to their Pennysylvania office for a week - they grouped together and convinced the company to fly them via NY first this w/end as it works out cheaper!

One of them has access to an appartment somewhere in NY so their accomodation is also free.)

That sounds fun Celia. Wish I was in NY because I'd go shopping! All we have here is Motherhood and the clothes are awful. The jeans I bought hang off my butt. Dh said that's how all the teeny booper girls are wearing them now (shows our age, teeny booper?) Anyway, it's 48 here today and I have the woodstove cranking. It's pretty cool though because the beluga whales are up in the arm this time of year and the seals follow them eat to eat their salmon scraps. Wait till another couple months then I'll be crying in my cold soup!! Leslie

Celia, I'm so sorry that you're not the one in NY. We could have hooked up. Actually, I'd prefer to be in the UK visiting you. Love that rainy weather

That's how Japan is in the summer time. Gross! I'm so glad I'm not in humidity being all big and fat! I'd be such a B! Leslie
