Well, mock transfer went well. A little uncomfortable, but not bad. Also, a little more bleeding than I expected. Doctors says everything looks good. Now I just have to wait for af. Then I start bcp. Crazy the steps you have to take before ivf. I hope it will be well worth it.

If you're talking about day FSH results then ideally they should be less than 9, although some clinics will say less than 12 is ok.

Its nice to have other ladies to talk too. Sometimes I have so much on my mind and I dont want to dumped it ALL on my dh. Hes a busy man. Thanks again for making time to talk. Your now a busy mom, huh?
I didn't have a mock transfer, but I wish I did, because my cervix is long and kinked and made the transfer (when I was very sore from egg collection), quite difficult.

I agree that it's difficult to know how much to talk to our partners about, but it's important to still talk through your thoughts and feelings with them. You need to experience this as a couple, so include him wherever possible. Invite him along to your appointments, so that he gets to know what you're going through.

Neil has come to every single infertility, IVF and antenatal appointment I've ever had, it's been great to have him there for support, and has helped him feel part of the process (rather than just some kind of glorified sperm-donor!!)

A question I have is about the drugs. Are there any side effects and what was your experience with them?
Lucy (ibentow) is expecting after concieving naturally! And Amanda (pearlgirlulm) for now has stopped TTC she's going to travel and renovate her home.

IVF is a rollercoaster for sure, but you're not alone! There are side effects with almost every drug, so until you know what regieme you're on it would be difficult to say, so feel free to post questions whenever you like!
