Default 1st IVF cycle

Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting on this site. I found this amazing site on Monday in an effort to find some relief from the insanity of waiting. All of your posts have been a great comfort to me. I am in the process of going through my first cycle of IVF. My transfer was on Friday 2 (grade 2, 5&7 cell embryos), and my progesterone was today (33.5) and I'm going crazy!!! Can anyone shed any light on these numbers for me? I don't know how anyone makes it through this 12 day wait period. I have a hard enough time relaxing normally. I haven't been able to get this out of my mind, and I feel as if my anxiety is just going to totally work against me.

Thank you and I will keep all of you in my prayers,

Cyndi

Going crazy during the 2 week wait is very normal. Your P4 level is great. Are you taking any supplements? Your embryos were fine. I am currently pg and I transferred 5 cell and 6 cell embryos.

Good luck Cyndi!!!!

Glinda,

Congratulations to you and thank you for your positive words. How far along in the pregnancy are you? Do you feel any different? What's the call back from the beta like? Is it usually the doctor? In addition to the progesterone I am taking my prenatel vitamins and that's all. Do you think that I should be on additional supplements?

Thanks for your help,

Cyndi

Thank you. I'm 20 weeks and 2 days with twins. As far as feeling different....that's part of my problem which causes anxiety. If I didn't tell people I was pg, they wouldn't know. I'm just starting to bulge now in my 5th month. Everyone is gaining weight and I'm losing weight. Unfortunately, I still vomit. That's my one sign of pg. I don't have sore boobs nor have they gotten any bigger.

I received my beta callbacks from a nurse. The nurse was also the one to call in any scripts. It doesn't sound like you need to be on any supplements. I have a progesterone deficiency problem (which was probably the cause of several m/c before being diagnosed) so I needed supplements.

You're doing great
