Default Accupuncture... and Robitussin ?

Hi ladies--
Well I started accupuntcure again. I just love it. It's so relaxing which for me is really needed. I am going to go next week and then twice the following week. So I hope it helps me. I am also almost done w/ my Clomid (one more day) and have been taking Baby Aspirin. This 6th cycle has to be it...ugh.

Anyway she also mentioned today taking 1/2 teaspoon of Robitussin E twice a day. Has anyone else done it? I have no CM problems...but hey I'm pullin out all the stops here. I am also going to really pray and meditate for 15 mins before bedtime. Apparantley my sleep albeit long is not restful because my mind is racing. So if I do that then maybe I can leave my worries outside of my sleep.

Do I sound like a new age freak???? I hope not. I'm going to be doing a lot of praying too. It's all part of the plan...Oh one other thing she said was that I shouldn't put ice in my drinks. She said that the cold liquids uses my energy to warm my body when my energy could be used elsewhere. So room temperature water for me. LOL

I think that accupuncture can make a big difference and I know the Robitussin (Guafenisen in particular) in my cm. I think that anything that might help is worth it! GOOD LUCK!!

Jules, good luck this cycle!! I have been in acupuncture since May (weekly) and have also been told NO cold drinks. Nothing with ice. No cold or raw food. And if you do eat salad, have a soup or cup of warm tea with it. I was recently diagnosed with a "cold uterus" and my acupuncturist also gave me herbs to "warm" my entire body. It all sounds strange, but I believe in him. Also, if you do yoga, do not do the Bikram yoga. It depleats your qi and I was told something like "as a woman you don't want to drain your warm energy" or something like that. They also told me to wear socks and do not let my feet get cold. Also, I have to use a moxi stick on my abdomen several times a day (and if you get one of these, get the smokeless kind!!). Definitely drink all your water at room temperature. I even moved our bottled water into the house because in the garage it keeps it cold (you'd never believe I lived in CA!).

Stick with that acupuncture! Hopefully #6 will be the lucky one!!!!
