Default Another rookie question

According to my own uneducated guess, I should start my period on Tuesday if I am not pregnant. So I assumed I would test that day. On all the pregnancy tests though, it says to test the first day of your missed period...So that would be Wednesday, not Tuesday, right?

I am confused and have spent too much money on expensive pregnancy tests to get the timing all wrong.

In the past (when I had an 'oops') I would just test with a cheap-o-test the day I should start. I want to get this one right though. TIA

LOL! You can try to set yourself a "test date" but forget it. You will test the day you should get your period and then everyday after until you either get a positive or AF. Or, if you're like me, you'll probably start testing Sunday! LOL!! Good luck to ya gal!

I bought that First Response. They claim that you can test 5 days early, but if you read the small print it says that only about 67% of women who test that early will get a +. I have researched them to death, and while they get the highest rating from Consumer Reports and other feedback sites, there are a handful of people who claimed to have gotten false positives and vanishing lines. can't make everyone happy though, so went ahead with the majority and bought them.
