Hi guys, I did get put in the joint! It's not so bad. My friend brought me a laptop and got me connected. I've got cable AND a DVD. Dh looks like crap but he took off for fishing this morning with his brother that is here visiting from MI. Poor guy. So our plan is 8 weeks here then home and mom will come for as long as she can then I'll come back. The hospital is actually pretty nice. I can't go out of my room except for a daily shower. Thanks for the support and words of encouragement. L

Gosh Leslie sorry to hear that at least you like it. Bedrest for 8 weeks there and you can only shower, how long do you think your Mom can stay? I feel for you and dh. He must be beside himself...at least your little angel is good. Are they just monitoring you? worry about your cervix and the fluid? You will be in my thoughts and prayers. At least you have your laptop! Please take care, I wished there was something I could do....wished I weren't here in FL. Keep us informed ok.

Oh Leslie...what a bummer! Not so much the bedrest, but the fact that it's in the hospital. Don't worry, before you know it, your baby will be born and the 3 of you can go home and live happily ever after

They will take good care of you and make sure nothing happens to you both. Stay positive and feel free to write to us all the time. Take care and take it easy.

Ooooooh noooooooo! That's going to be......very interesting. I know you live in something of a remote area (at least it sounds like it), so does that mean you're shacked up at a small, friendly hospital? We have one of those nearby - very very tiny, one floor - whenever I go there for a test or something I'm always blown away at how nice and personal it is and how unhospital-like. I'm hoping that's the case for you. Either way, I'm sure you'll get to know everyone really fast. Do you have a roommate? Do they have any, well, entertainment?? Like classes or something?

OK, here's a very funny blog that you can read for a good daily laugh. It's by this guy Manolo who posts in a Spanish or Italian accent and loves shoes and celebrities. He gives fun (and wise) fashion advice too. When some one makes a fashion faux pas he says, "Aaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy!" That's how I feel about your hospital stay.

On a more serious note, your daughter is lucky to have a mom like you keeping her safe and sound. Good luck and send us some funny hospital stories. Hey, maybe YOU should start a blog!
