Default Beta went from 2.55 to 8.27

Once again, I'm kinda pregnant.

Why does this keep happening to me? Dr. L really has no hope for this, but the beta did double in 24 hours. I don't know...I keep hoping for a miracle, but statistically I know there is probably a .000001% chance of this being a keeper.

I'm just lost.

Maddy, there is no "kinda pregnant". You are pregnant. The beta doubled. At this point, this is all we can ask for. The beta didn't go down. It went up. You hold onto that. I believe it was JennT that started out with a beta of 5 from an IUI. She must have gotten that number 2 weeks after the IUI. She now has a baby. And for selfish reasons

, I need you to be pregnant. You have a m/c, I have a m/c, you have a disappearing sac, I have a disappearing sac, you end a pregnancy with methotrexate, I end a pregnancy with methotrexate. It's time Maddy. We need to end this cycle/curse now. We both need to be bleeping pregnant and stay pregnant for the next 8 months!!!

Meditate, go for a massage, do whatever it takes to relax.

I love you and am rooting for you

Thank you my friend. It's a vicious cycle, isn't it?? It's like we are leading parallel lives. You are right about holding onto the hope, but c'mon.....Dr. Glinda......be rational with me. Do you really think there is ANY way I could give birth when my beta is at 8.27 on 10dp5dt??? Even Dr. L is not giving this much of a chance.

What was Jenn T's dpo? My 5 never made it.

My first IVF I had a 5 and 18 on beta's #1 and #2. It then actually went to 40, 913, 1503, 2152, 9004, and finally to 9469 on the day of my methotrexate injection. This time I had a <2 and 2.55.

If beta's that were triple what they are now didn't make it, how could THIS one possibly hang on????? Yeah, yeah....I have hope, but you know all too well that self-preservation mode. I'm in it......even though I am begging my 50,000 angels to give my little embie strength. So far, they haven't let me down, but I don't know if even the angels can help me now.

I am being rational with you Maddy. Being irrational is rational to me since I started ttc. I keep kicking myself for having the methotrexate. Maybe that sac would have showed up again. The beta increased. I should have given it a couple of more days. Maybe it didn't swim up to a tube. I keep reading stories where drs/nurses have told women to stop their meds. They didn't and they remained pg.

Yes, your number is low. However, I won't give up on you. I can't, not as long as there is one shred of hope. Women have started bleeding and they thought it was over but it wasn't. I know it's easier said than done to say "hang in there" but just do it.

I can't give you details of JennT's story since we no longer have all the old threads. It's just one of those things that you don't forget - a beta of 5 becoming a success story.

I called in my 50,000 angels to watch over your embie too
