Leslie, I'm so glad you're feeling better and that everything is going ok. By the way, what did the nurse do that pissed you off?

Missy, sorry about the interstitial cystitis - I used to get the regular cystitis a lot when I was younger and I remember what a drag it was. VERY glad to hear that you're having a boy and a girl though!

Julie

About the boob job....I have gotten a pretty good dose of what it's like to have big boobs since being pg, and I have to say that I don't like it. They always seem to be in the way. I can't imagine paying someone to give me these on purpose

It's all the rage here also. I work with a couple of women who have boob jobs. I will admit that they look good, but not for me. Thanks for all the kind words everyone. I quit my job today, and it felt great. I love where I work, but it doesn't break my heart to stay home. I have to say for the record...being pg is really hard. I don't know if it would be the same if I were having 1, but twins is hard work. My body hurts all the time......did yours Glinda? Seems like something is always wrong. 1st cramps, then constant puking, onto a tear and bladder problems, and my latest thing is fainting. I tend to faint quite easily in the morning (how fun). Thanks goodness I love these babies

Hey Julie, when I came out of my u/s she asked how long my cervix was and when I said 1.8 she went "oooohh yikes" like she %#*(&% knows! Anyway, it freaked me out and I cried all morning till my Dr. came in and said I was doing great. Allison, a short cervix doesn't mean your baby is squished, it means that the birth canal is shorter than normal so easier to dialate and have baby come too soon. She's got a whole swimming pool to herself. Also weight from bag can cause early water breakage which could lead to infection and premature labor. So, it's good to have a longer one. Like MissY! L

Diane, I am 17 weeks. I don't think I will go the full 40 weeks though. My doctor is thinking that they might take them early and do it by c-section because I have had fibroids removed from my uterus a few years ago and therefore might make it more risky to try a vaginal birth. If they do take them early, I want to deliver by Feb 18th (4 weeks early) so that they will be aquarius like their mom

(only if they are healthy at that point). My sister delivered her twins 5 weeks early because 1 was in distress and they were 6lbs 5oz and 4lbs 14oz. The smaller one was considered growth restricted throughout her pregnancy. He had low amniotic fluid and only 2 vessels in his cord instead of the 3 it is supposed to have.
