Default Bleeding after IUI

After this IUI, the nurse told me she hit my cervix, and that I could expect some blood on my underwear. That did happen about 3 hours later, but again about 30 hours later, I had some brown, VERY sticky mucus. Has anyone ever experienced this before? Does this mean anything, or am I getting my hopes up too soon? The 2ww is so VERY long - only 10 more days to go.

It's really common after an IUI to have some bloody thick mucus, much as you described. The IUI disrupts the CM and it comes out later. It's nothing to worry about. I hope this cycle turns out to be a +++ for you!
