Maddy, I had regular timed periods before DD but when we went to get pg, we discovered I wasn't egg popping every cycle so to insure that I did when we did the DIUI, dr put me on serephene (50 mg tablets). I got pg the first DIUI. that was in 2001.

This time around, starting in April 2004, I went 3 medicated cycles with serephene (50, 100 then 150 mg) with no ovulation. Dr. put me on glucophage for insulin-resistance, went one cycle with no serephene (no O), the next cycle with serephene at 50mg and have o'd every cycle (with 2 DIUI in Sept and Oct with bfns) except my February cycle when the Rx got messed up and I didn't take me serephene and had a 35 day cycle. (Let me tell you I now order my refills the week before AF is due).

The current cycle is the second cycle I've had bloodwork done to cofirm I've Od and took 100 mg of serephene this cycle.

So total, I've been on Serephene for almost 14 months, with two failed DIUIs. Life interfered with my job change in February (had to wait til I was covered under FMLA again).
