I am located in MI. What were you expecting to pay and what are you actually paying? What kind of help did you get on your meds?

I live in Rochester, NY. My insurance covered the majority of my meds, so i only have a small co-pay. I will be paying around $6,500.

Leslie...That's amazing! I can't believe it's so expensive where you live (I was actually feeling sorry for myself about the cost, but not anymore). What makes it so costly? Is it the meds, or the actual procedures? About a third of the cost here is due to the meds, half for the clinic for the retrieval/implanation, the rest for blood workk/ultrasounds. My suggestion, move to the east coast

With our IVF, 8 IUI's, and all the tests we payed for, our total came to $25k. I have to say I feel SO BLESSED because we were given our meds and without them we would have never been able to have enough when we did for our IVF.
