Hello Bonnie and Meladi,
As you can see by the ticker, I will be cycyling in Aug also. I will be doing a FET around the 3rd week in Aug, it will be a natural cycle. I have 15 snowbabies waiting to join mommie, only planning on transfering 1, maybe 2 ???? I am glad you have such a positive outlook, it will be great getting to know you and meladih better, hopefully our cycles will be somewhat in sink, Wishing you both the Best and a BFP.

PS, I will be prepping for my cycle with fertility herbs. They worked pretty good during the original cycle, hopefully they will work for the FET.

HI All- Meladi, I'm glad you are doing the accupunture too. I've used it in the past and think it is pretty powerful! I'm worried about the injections...my man is more nervous than I! I told the nurse I would probably be giving them myself and she went crazy!! She thinks she will be able to talk him into givng them!...She is pretty tough so we'll see. My cousin gave me some advice on giving the intramuscular shot...she said to use a heating pad, heat the injection site, then ice then injection site while heating the needle (I guess the stuff is pretty thick and the heat thins it a bit), then use the heating pad again after the injection. Seams like an awful lot of work, but if it dulls the pain then I'm all for it!!! I'll let you know if it works for me.

PS. I had a dream last night that I only got three eggs and noone of them were good enough

I guess my subconscious is not so optimistic!

Bonnie, the butt is the way to go for your IM injections. If you do the thigh it will hurt like crazy. As far as the heating pad/ice, that seems like alot. They don't really hurt. Your butt will be a little sore after doing a few days of it, but the actual injection doesn't hurt. Definately leave the projesterone at room temp. because it is thick and if it gets cold, it gets thicker. The shots aren't so bad....don't worry you will do great. Missy

Bonnie, I do all my shots myself. Dh didn't mind but it's just easier and doesn't seem to hurt as much. I don't use heat, ice or anything. Just jab away. I'm so used to it now. The only thing you have to worry about is lumps. It will feel like a roll of quarters, Then you have to tell your Dr. because the med might not be absorbing. Then you just do more vagina mints.

BELIEVE ME!!! If I can give myself a shot the size of those PIO than anyone on this planet can do it! Leslie
