Default Day 10 u/s & spotting question

Hi All,
So I had my day 10 b/w & u/s today. There are 8 follies, I guess that's better than none - but I'm a little disappointed. So ER is scheduled for Tues. at 11:00am and I do my hcg tonight at 11:00pm. I have two questions.

1) I've done my hcg subq before for iui's and the RE said that was okay, but the paperwork says do it IM. Do you think I can still just do it subq?
2) (Warning maybe TMI) About a 1/2 hour ago I went to the bathroom (just #1 lol) and when I wiped there was a pretty good amount of bright red blood like a period. I waited like 10 minutes and tried to go again which obviously I couldn't and there were like 2 little blood drips. I called the RE's office and the nurse pract. called me back and said it's probably from the u/s and there'e nothing they would do for it anyway. This has never happened to me after an u/s. Has it happened to anyone else. I'm a little panicy about this. But still excited for Tuesday!

Hi Stacy, I have heard of some blood with the ultrasound. I would not worry too much if it stopped. If you continue to have spotting all day call the Doctor. I would also do the hcg shot IM. I did mine IM following the instructions. You do not want to effect the quality of the eggs and since they are taking them out this time I think you should follow the instructions.

Good luck tomorrow.
