Leslie you are a trip girl...always got us laughing, thanks it helps. Diane, yeah I felt a decrease in sex drive. I felt bad but I felt nervous about it too. The first time we did IVF we had sex during the 2ww I spotted and just knew something was wrong, but I was pregnant. But then m/c a week later. This time. We did not have sex the 2ww not only because I did not want to but because my DH broke his back and well needless to say it was not on the top of his list since sex was the furthest from his mind and this time I did not feel bad for my lack of desire. After I found out I was pg I was still scared (nervous) but we did it and it was fine, no spotting or anything. I don't know if the lack of desire is just you don't want anything to happen or what...but it is real and you are not alone. I am sure once this is all over the desire will come back. Hang in there and don't feel bad about it....he will get relief soon. hehehe. At least for your DH they don't have to take a needle to him to aspirate the sperm out like for my DH...I am sure he would have gladly used a cup. But from the first IVF they were able to get enough that he did not have to do that this time, that is why we did ICSI. Good luck this weekend, listen to your body and in time things will get back to normal. I am sure DH will understand. Take Care. Allison

p.s. I also feel like a big, bloated undesirable cow at the moment and it is definately the furthest thing from my mind....hehehe, just wanted to lighted it up a bit.

Our clinic told us no sex before transfer unless with a condom (HA! like dh was going to do that!) then after transfer no sex at all. We haven't had sex since April so I don't really even think about it. I help dh out sometimes but I have to say since my second trimester I've been horney as HELL!! AND I'm not suppose to even have an orgasim (my cervix has been stitched closed so we don't want any contractions). Anyways, I have had some pretty remarkable dreams..heehheee. Can't help that though, can I? I think it's pretty natural to not feel like it, especially when your boobs hurts, you're bloated, your dh is an ass, and you feel all moody. It should go away. Ask the Dr. if you're even suppose to. Leslie

Our clinic told us no sex 5 days prior to retrieval and none after the transfer until "further notice". The BFN was our further notice...I found that in order to keep my DH happy and helpful during the process I had to be "helpful" as well. He wasn't complaining. He had to donate several times prior to the actual day and on the retrieval day, told me he was looking forward to seeing "his girlfriend" in their "special room"!!! He developed a crush on one of the porn models HA! I guess you just do what you have to do....dreams are a good release for you Leslie! Did the doc say anything about having an orgasm in your sleep???

My Doc said the same, but after the transfer we could wait 3 days. But I am glad I waited til after the 2ww just for peace of mind. So by the second trimester you get horney huh? cool. yeah I guess an orgasim w/ a stitche Cervix would not be too good...ouch...but at least the dreams are good..yippie. You are still crackin' me up though Leslie, thought about doing stand up? hehehe.
