We've had some rocky insems as well - especially when we were doing them on our own with a known donor, and I never felt like dh was doing it right. It is a very difficult thing to go through, and we've had arguments where I have pleaded with him to put himself in my shoes. Dh actually felt better going to the clinic using an unknown donor so that he didn't feel the pressure (usually from me) each month to get it in there correctly. He has been much more supportive lately. As someone has already said, he may be feeling guilty about all that you are going through, and not able to communicate it. He also may not have quite accepted the fact that it can't be him, and is very frustrated. But sometimes they don't need people to make excuses for them - and they are just being asses. I hope he comes around for you.

I'm sure he will be fine. The whole process is hard on dh/so's as well as us. I'm sorry that he wasn't more comforting and supportive though!
Good luck this cycle!
