Default DIUI #5 done - BOB has already moved in!

Went for mid-cycle ultrasound on Monday (cd 12) and RE said my follicle already looked perfect! So she gave me a shot of hcg and told me to come back the next day for IUI.

After she did the insemination, she put some kind of plug right up against my cervix to catch any escapees and hold them up against the cervix. Then, after I lying on my back for a few minutes, she told me that since I was ovulating on my left side, I should turn over & lie on my left side for 20 minutes to help the swimmers go in the right direction. Anyone ever heard of that? I've never had a dr. tell me to lie on my ovulating side! Don't know if it really makes any difference, but it can't hurt, right?

Next step is a progesterone test on cd21, then we'll see what turns up after that! At least I have Thanksgiving & the in-laws in town to help distract me for a few days. I have a serious case of BOB already!!

That sounds wonderful! I have heard of them having you lie on the side of O to help too, and I think it makes sense. I think you have an excellent chance this cycle and I wish you tons of luck!!!

Wow that sounds like an early IUI! Hoping timing is perfect!

We also have laid on our side and back as per Dr suggestions!

When I had my IUI's the doctor would shoot the swimmers towards whichever side the follie was on.
Good Luck!!!
