Default Dr appt today and ot vent

I had an appointment with my doctor this morning as a follow up since I'm starting my 4th cycle of clomid. My options were to either go ahead with another 3 cycles of clomid and the IUI's or to have a lap done to check for adhessions from previous abdominal surgery. He doesn't think another HSG is needed since mine was just 3 years ago. So after we talked it over we decided to go ahead with 3 more clomid cycles since last month was our first IUI. If I'm not pregnant in 2 months I'll go in and we'll do the preop testing and then after my 3rd month if I'm still not pregnant I'll have the lap done. He had me set up the 2 month appt today that way everything will be out of the way if I need the lap after my 3rd month. He said that if I'm still not pregnant after the 3rd month we'll probably need to "get more aggressive". I didn't ask what that meant so I don't know what that means.

So that was good news this morning then when I got home I got the bad news. I've been working from home for over a year now for 2 companies as an independent contractor. Well before I started all the infertility testing and u/s I explained to the one company what was going on and told them that I wouldn't always be able to give them advance notice of days I would need off. I only work part time for them in the morning so when the day of my u/s I wouldn't work because till I would get home there would only be maybe an hour left that I was able to work. Anyway they told me that was fine just to let them know as soon as I found out and it wouldn't be held against me. (They have a minimum hours that we're supposed to work)
Well, to make a long story somewhat shorter they let me go because now they're saying it does go against me. Of course two of the people I had previously talked to left the company in the past 2 months and the third is denying they told me that.
So now I'm out of a job and I don't know what we're going to do. I've been applying to positions and searching for other jobs since I hung up. I am so upset and my dh keeps telling me it will be ok. The bad thing is we just sat down the other night and figured out what we would need to do to pay off our debt by next year and we were planning on getting a new car sometime after the first of the year, a Dodge Magnum. So now everything is all screwed up.

We had to go 6 cycles on Clomid before even being allowed to consider anything else - even though I NEVER once responded to it...clinic and Dr's can make you mad for sure! So sory to hear about work - hang in there things have a way of working out for the best in the end!
