Default Femara Question

OK the Clomid cycles did nothing for me, so this cycle my RE started my on Femara -- 5 mg a day from CD3 - CD7. Anyone have any experience with this drug??

. I don't think we use Femera in the U.S. or at least not for ttc. It's actually a breast cancer drug. Don't be alarmed by that. Lupron which many of us use was not designed for ttc but for prostate cancer and endometriosis etc. I believe it is used in Canada instead of clomid. I think it has less side effects and should help thicken your lining. Clomid thinned my lining. If you end up getting the same results as you did on clomid, you may want to discuss injectible meds with your dr.

I remember Jo Will was taking this drug, but I don't know anything about it since it does seem to be more popular with our Canadian friends. Honestly? I would skip all that and just move on to injectibles. Even though I never had any bad side effects from clomid, I'm not a fan. I think that drug is a waste of time unless you either a) respond super well with it or b) don't ovulate on your own.

I say cut to the chase and go with some gonal F ( and maybe with a mix of repronex ).
