Question Geez, this is frustrating...

...I didn't O again last cycle. Dr. has upped my serephene to 100 mg and doing days 5-9 so that if I do O it's not on the weekend. I also setup a consult with my best friend's doctor who got her pg (after trying for 6 years, she was pg within 3 months of her first appointment with him).

However, my problem is that since I used DI, if the new doctor will be able to order the spermies from the same bank. It's on my list to ask.

Have any of you changed doctors between children or during TTCing and had any problem with the new doc and your sperm bank?

I spent a year and 6 cycles using Clomid (Serophene) and I NEVER responded even once to it! I tried 2 cycles at 50mg, 2 at 100mg and 2 at 150mg before moving to injectibles...here we had no choice about sperm banks since ur clinic only used 1 and we had no choice but to use them...we never changed though so I have no idea how others worked...

Thanks, Moy. Serephene worked with DD at 100mg, but I've been on it so long this time around, I may have to move to injectibles.

I say go straight to injectibles!!! I seriously wouldn't even waste any more time on clomid. Not sure about the switch either. I would think that your RE (regardless of who they are) would let you use any sperm bank you wanted. My clinic wanted nothing to do with our choice of sperm banks. We used Xytex and they just sent the cryotank right to my clinic and my clinic took care of sending it back. We never had any issues.
