Default Guess what? I was converted back...

to IVF. I had be ER on my birthday (Saturday). They got 7 eggs, 5 fertilized and I will have my transfer on Tuesday. SO...any opinions on what to put back if all 5 last? Me and DH are leaning toward all of them, as we don't want to risk only putting in 2 or 3 and we lose the rest when they thaw them out. (We put 4 back last time.)

I'm still really sore, but Dr. Brasile rocks - she prescribed some percocet. I know my ER's never hurt this bad at the other place, not sure what that means. But I'm still feeling positive, just nervous as heck.

Don't forget, it's poll time - give me some opinions on what you'd do! Thanks. See ya girls...

First off, belated Happy Birthday!

Fantastic news that you were converted back and you've 5 embies!!

We're not allowed more than 2 back here in the Uk, but I'd say go for it. I really hope however many you put back at least one decides to get real comfy in there

Thanks Celia! It's just been such a crazy week my head is still reeling. I know 5 sounds nuts but I've already transferred 2,3 & 4. So 5 is next, right?!

I think it's good that it hurt this time. Anything different than the times it didn't work is a good sign to me. Go for it!! I had 9 on ice and only three made it through the thaw so I say, why chance keeping any? Blast away!! woohoo. Happy Birthday too.

I was wondering if they were going to convert you back to an IVF. I don't think they would have done the IUI with so many follicles. I always put 4 back. While the pgs were not successful, I had 1 out of 4 stick every time (crappy eggs but amazing sticky uterus). With my lucky cycle which Dr. Brasile performed, only 5 embryos survived the thaw (1-3 cells, 2-5 cells and 2-6 cells). I think because the embryos looked so crappy and they weren't expecting anything to happen with the 3 cell, they let me put back all 5.

If you want to put 5 back and multiples do not scare you then go for it. I'm glad I did. It took me 4 years of treatments to have my babies, I was never going to do it again so I know I'm blessed to have been given 2 miracles.

Call embryology and get the growth report (inquiring minds need to know).
