Smile Had b/w and u/s

Ok the definition of the UK standards of follies confuse me. The fertility clinic rules here say no more than 2 follies for an injectable iui cycle to minimise the risk of multiple births. I thought this meant only 2 growing at all. But was down yesterday to my clinic and had 6 follies growing 3 at 9mm and some smaller ones my clinic said that one ovary will go dominant and a probably 2 follies will get big enough to be released so I am on track.

I go back Sunday CD 10 for another u/s and more b/w so I will let you know how I get on.

I remember the US technician showing me the extra follicles, and that they were subside as 1 or 2 became dominant

Makes perfect sense to me - there will normally be several follies starting but eventually only one or two will become dominant and take over...clinic want only 1-2 MATURE follies at time of procedure.
