Hoping the rest of your 2ww flies by...we never had to go for an u/s after IUI because we used HCG trigger and therefore KNOW we ovulated...

Hope the rest of the wait speeds by. I don't know about the second u/s. I might question it if I was paying out of pocket because it's too late after the IUI anyway!

My RE never did an u/s after and IUI. Pffff, mine won't even do one the day OF an IUI!! I was always kinda miffed about that because I would have like to have made sure. Like Moy, we always have used a triggr, so I'm sure I always O'd. Guess there was really no reason to do an u/s and spend more $ because there was nothing the could have done about it at that point anyway.

I do the trigger shot too but they still send me for an u/s afterwards. I'm going to have to ask them if it's really necessary. My insurance is covering them but if I don't have to go I'd rather not. I get poked and proded enough without having to go for another u/s.
