Thank you so much you guys, you really help me realize that I'll just get through it and it probably won't be so bad....

and I have been feeling better the past day or so - lots less anxious, no bad dreams. But I"m sure Thursday morning I'll be a total B! Poor DH, LOL! I've already warned him and apologized in advance.

I do have a friend who is going to come over Friday night to make me dinner. She's a fabulous cook and asked me if I liked

. I've heard of it but didn't know what it was and have never tried it, so I'm already looking forward to that - I LOVE food!

I'll keep you posted, and thanks again!
Julie

Julie-I have had two and then a similar surg when they removed my tubes...the worst past is the gas-moving around the next day will help. I felt the gas pains mostly in my shoulder...the incisions are nothing..tiny and not painful. I had trouble with the medications and vomited when I came out of surg. So if you tolerate the sleep meds better than I, this shouldn't be a problem. I would make sure someone is with you for the 1st 24 hours after the proceedure. That is when you are most vulnerable. If DH is flying out, have a friend over to help! You'll be fine

Julie, ceviche is a staple here. We ceviche everything out here but halibut is my favorite. Super easy recipe... Fish cut up in little cubes, squeeze the juice of about 5 limes and an orange, let sit for about 2 hours (the citrus cooks the fish), buy a jug of mango salsa from costco and mix. Use bluechips to scoop. Yummy!! You'll be fine! It's pretty non gassy stuff too. I'm excited for you to get rid of that nasty cyst. Who knows? You could get all knocked up on your own?? Good luck, Leslie
