thanks everyone for your help. I had my day 3 blood and us today, will have to wait to see what they say when they call. Around what day did you all have your retrieval? I suffered from a horrible migraine all weekend, the nurse said its from all the hormones being removed now form my body after taking the pill. I was miserable though and can usually take pain pretty good. My dh did not know what to do, yet he still went fishing! MEN! We got our puppy LILY on Saturday, she is a 10 week old English Bulldog and she has made us so happy already. She is great practice to ever having a baby though. we have to get up every 2 hours to take her out! I am exhausted and so is my dh, but the look she gives you when you walk in form work is great! During a tough time in our lives she is really bringing some happiness! So hopefully this headache goes away after 3 weeks now, they said it should as i put more hormones into body again. And I am so glad I found this website. hope everyone is feeling good. Any way to estimate what day retrieval is, i thought it could happen any where between days 11-17, does that sound right?
Thanks
Diane

Hey Diane-Yeah headaches from the Lupon for sure...but once you get the hormone meds in it should get better for you. The time frame sounds right. I can definately vary depending on how you are responding. Good luck w/ your cycle can't wait to hear about those follies. And aren't puppies the best! I know they are alot of work but they are worth it. I don't know what I would do w/o my baby! well she is not a baby anymore, she is 5 but I still call her my baby! She makes me happy and I don't know what I would do w/o her. Once you Lily trained you will be able to sleep more, until the real one comes along of course. Again good luck with everything. I will be thinking about you and praying for good stimulation. Congrats!

Diane,
I never thought I had any side-effects from the medication. I have done Clomid, Gonal-f, Repronex, Menopur, Lupron, Ganirelix, and various forms of progesterone. Really, my only side-effect is bruising around the injection sites..as I do large doses. The progesterone in oil shots are not pleasant, but not as bad as I thought...the knot/bruised feeling is just about gone after 48 hours.

As for retrieval, I have had two retrievals...one at 10 days and one at 14 days. My only advice...relax. You recover from the retrieval in just a few days...glad to see you are moving to ivf quickly.

TTM

Hi there and welcome to the site, even if its under these conditions! you are so lucky you had no side effects. i think i had everyone mentioned. the migraines from the lupron have been the worst by far. I feel excited to be close to the end, I am a nanny full time and love kids and have been around them for so long. Everyone tells me what a great mom i will be with all my experience and this reality of waitng and waiting really drains me! Hopefully this will be my luckky month and I will get the news i have dreamed of hearing. I wish you luck in getting to the same point. this site is great and everyone is knowledgeable and wonderful. Keep in touch

Diane, My retrieval was at day 15 if you can believe that! They kept pushing me b/c the follicles weren't big enough. I'm glad they did. I ended up with enough eggs to do a fresh and frozen cycle.
