  • Well ladies it's not looking good. I just got the call with my beta, and it's only 28.7. The nurse said she'd be surprised if I didn't get my period soon, but on the other hand, nothing's impossible and I should stick with the progesterone. I'll go for another test Thursday.

    I just feel incredibly sad through and through, especially after the excitement of today, but I guess it's not quite over yet.

  • Hang in there, when do you go for your next Beta??? it is not over yet. We are still praying for you! BTW can't believe that nurse said that too you about your period....frustrating. Hang in there.

  • Stupid nurse. Don't you give up hope! You know we've seen stranger things happen on this board. It's probably low because they took so long to give you the results. Try and think positive Julie. I'm sorry this is so hard. L

  • Hi Julie - do not give up hope. Low betas are not necessarily bad news. My RE says that anything over 5 is pregnant, and that the key is how your betas grow from here. As long as they keep approximately doubling every two to three days at first, then you have every reason to keep celebrating!!!
