Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's all very surreal. And while you may think this is ridiculous, I still can't believe it. I cannot believe that in 2 days I will be a mother and a mother of twins to boot. Part of me is afraid that I might jinx everything by just typing that statement out. There are no signs of impending motherhood in my home. Everything is at my mother's. When I get out of the hospital, I'm staying with her. I also can't take any chances with my dogs ripping the staples/stitches (I did see that a local hospital is using glue to put you back together) out of me.

I have spent the last 4 years trying to have a baby. I got used to the fact that I could get pregnant but I could never reach the prize. I see the expression in people's faces when they find out this is my 8th pregnancy and I have no children. Now I'm being rewarded with 2 prizes - more than I could ever ask for. If no other dream, wish etc. ever comes true for me, I will still be a winner for the rest of my life because of these babies.

I once heard my father say that if my daughter can wear contact lenses, anyone can. To all of you reading this.......If I can become a mother then anyone can. There is hope for all. I won't say it's been easy. I ventured into controversial and unrecognized treatment (with a high price tag). Just never stop focusing on your dream - be it giving birth yourself or some kindhearted person knowing it's best for you to be the mother of her child.

God bless you all.

Glinda, I am so happy for you. You are going to be a great mother and those two bundles of joy are lucky to be getting you. You probably won't have much free time (if any), but if you get a spare moment please come on and let us know how you (and the babies) are doing. I know you are having a boy and girl, but what are their names? Good luck to you. Missy
