Default Hi Ladies!!!

Seems like forever since I've been here! So it's been about 2 1/2 months since my last bfn. Two weeks ago we went on a week long vacation with my brother and his family (the 2 1/2 yr old twins conceived via ivf). It was the *best* vacation, much needed, and extremely enjoyable from beginning to end.

So here's where I'm at. I switched RE's. I'm now at Cooper IVF in NJ, and so far I feel very confident with the RE's. I had my consult with Dr. Check (the guru around here) and met twice with Dr. Brasile, whom I'd met initially with at my pre-surgical consult for a lap (you might remember that). Well it turns out she doesn't think I really need the lap, or that I should go back to iui's (which I really didn't want to do) but suggested I have a sonohistagram, which is where she found a polyp in my uterus. There is no way of knowing, but that "could" cause a problem for implantation. So I'm having it removed on 3/14. (Anybody else have any experience with or knowledge about this?) Then on to IVF #4 with the arrival of my next AF. So that's it. I've been trying to keep up on all of you. SO much exciting news over on the PG after IF board!

Julie.....where are you? Hope you're doing okay!

I don't know if you know RoseMarie from IVF-C. A couple of years ago, we were both cycling at the same time. We both had our fresh transfers cancelled. Mine due to a thin lining and hers due to a polyp. In her case, the polyp was expelled during her next AF (surgery cancelled). However, I have to believe that Cooper thought that her cycle was compromised due to the polyp. I have fibroids but that never stopped me from cycling. It all depends where these things are located. I hope this removal is the answer to those nasty BFNs.

Good Luck!
